As co-owner of Pfitzer Pest Control, Karen’s involvement in the organization has provided the company with revenue growth of 20-40% year after year. Karen’s MBA and background as a marketing professor at a local College in addition to her experience as the Director of Sales for a global logistics company has given Pfitzer Pest Control a unique marketing and sales strategy, typically not adopted by similar organizations.
Their successes using local marketing and sales techniques prompted Karen to begin an online community with hundreds of pest control owners from around the world, sharing tips and strategies to help them improve their pest control businesses. Karen and her team also help other pest control companies with specific marketing and sales strategy with her business called Online Pest Control Marketing.
Together with her husband, Garret, Karen owns and operates Pfitzer Pest Control, serving North and South Dakota and Wyoming. Pfitzer Pest Control was founded in 2009 and currently has five major service areas: Aberdeen, Huron, Mitchell, Mobridge and Sheridan, Wyoming.
Karen is originally from the small town of White Lake, South Dakota. She loves to travel and enjoys sharing that passion with others by helping them plan life changing adventures. Karen also is passionate about supporting our youth, especially helping young girls realize their worth. Karen is a huge proponent of giving back to the communities Pfitzer Pest Control serves and personally tries to spend as much time as she can in each location.
