As a Realtor for Montgomery Real Estate in Huron Michelle Chenoweth says that she is “very blessed to do this work and help individuals and families find homes that suit their needs.” “I am very fortunate to find friends within my clients as well,” she added.
Michelle’s core values consist of God, Family, Work and Friends. She and her husband Chad have three children that keep them on their toes. They both work in service-based businesses and along with their family they are very busy, however they believe family time is first!
Two years ago, Michelle and her good friend Tasha Lee and had their dreams become reality. They acknowledged all the amazing, honorable and uplifting women in the Huron area that were not publicly recognized through the SHE Awards. The event became a part of the SD Women’s Expo and is taking on a life if its own. “Our goal is to continue its growth and eventually expand it into mentoring and possibly other communities,” said Michelle.
In addition to the SHE Awards, Michelle has served on the local and State Board of Realtors as State Director and Chair of Membership. This year she is holding position as President elect. While serving as Chair of Membership, the board started helping with the local Backpack Program and they serve with the local Meals on Wheels program several times a year.
“I was honored to have been elected Rising Star of our local Board of Realtors in my 2nd year of Real Estate and this year marks the 2nd time I was chosen as Realtor of the Year for Montgomery Real Estate,” said Michelle.
Education for children is also very important to Michelle, so when she was asked to serve on the Junior Achievement Board of Directors she couldn’t say no. This year will be her third year along with teaching a class.
“I am thankful every day for who I have met along the way, the experiences I have had and the lessons I have learned,” Michelle says.
